Originally hosted by Roland Friestad, the CNC Workshop is an educational experience for the CNC enthusiast and shop owner.
With seminars conducted by leading machine operators, business owners, and programmers, this event is "can’t miss" - and a bargain at $125 (with registration by March 15).
Along with the Workshops, your registration also includes a ticket for the Friday evening BBQ.

Lodging
We have arranged for discounted rooms at a couple of nearby hotels and also have a low-cost alternative in the dorms of neighboring Eastern Michigan University. Make sure to mention the Digital Machinist CNC Workshop when making your reservations.

Want to visit the Workshop and not break the bank? Dorm rooms are available at Eastern Michigan University, only three miles away.
Prices are:
- Double occupancy – $17/night
- Single occupancy – $23/night
- Linen rental – $4/night
To make reservations at the dorms, contact Eastern Michigan University directly at either (734)487-4108 or (734)487-0248 and ask for Kathy or Meg. They will be able to reserve your room, as well as handle your payment through Visa or Mastercard. Because they are not set up as a hotel, check in and check out must be done at specific times. Check in can be done on 6/21 from 5-8pm and check out can be done on either 6/25 or 6/26 from 7-10am.
Dining
There are numerous restaurants in the area and something can be found to fit just about any budget. For a convenient option, we have arranged for on-site box lunches. These include a sandwich on bakery styled bread served with chef’s choice of side salad, fresh whole fruit, gourmet cookies, chips and soda, or bottled water. The price is $9/day and reservations and payment must be made a minimum of two weeks in advance of the Workshop.
